Terms of service
These are the terms under which you take and use an Alpha Network connection.
1. Connection
After we receive a new-connection request we check whether a line can reach the address. An installation date is confirmed only after that check. Installation is ৳500, or a ৳1,000 refundable security deposit.
2. Billing
Billing is monthly and payable in advance, due by the stated date each month. Service may be suspended while a bill is outstanding and is restored once payment clears.
3. Speed and sharing
The speed stated on a package is the maximum international bandwidth and is provided at a 1:3 sharing content ratio. BDIX, cache and FTP speeds are stated separately with each package.
4. Acceptable use
The connection may not be used for anything unlawful under the laws of Bangladesh, and may not be resold or redistributed to third parties. We may terminate a connection without prior notice in those cases.
5. Equipment
Any ONU or router we supply remains the property of Alpha Network unless it was purchased outright, and must be returned when the connection ends.
6. Service interruptions
Service may be interrupted by maintenance, natural events, fibre cuts during road or construction work, or upstream provider faults. We give notice ahead of planned maintenance.
7. Ending the service
Give us at least 7 days notice to close a connection. The current month remains payable.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. Changes are published on this page and take effect from the date shown.
